The Finance Assistant will be responsible for providing a variety of specialized tasks in finance functions, ensuring accurate and timely delivery that is in compliance with the UNICEF financial rules and regulations, whilst demonstrating the capacity to research, adapt and evaluate irregular cases, and also recommending improvements to process delivery and design.

Minimum Requirements
<strong>Education</strong>: Secondary Education in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance and any other related fields.<br>A Bachelor or equivalent (First Level University Degree) from a recognized academic institution in a field relevant to the position may replace 3 years of related work experience. A Master or equivalent (Advanced University Degree) may replace an additional 2 years.
<strong>Work Experience</strong>: At least 5 years of clerical experience in finance, accounting, auditing, and banking is required.
<strong>Skills</strong>: Exposure to automated financial systems, such as SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP platforms, and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting purposes is required.
<strong>Language Requirements</strong>: Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required.
Desirables
Language: Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) is an asset.
