A source is the official careers portal or recruitment feed where a vacancy was published. The UN system does not use one single application website: the UN Secretariat, UNICEF, WFP, WHO, IOM, UNDP, UNESCO, ITU and other agencies all use separate systems. This page shows which official sources currently have live openings and lets you inspect each source without checking every portal by hand.

Source pages are useful when you trust a specific portal or want to compare how an agency labels its jobs. Some sources publish many consultancies, some are mostly fixed-term staff posts, and others include internships, rosters or home-based assignments. Each listing keeps the original source code visible and links out to the official posting so applications happen only on the employer site.

We keep this directory focused on live, substantial sources. Thin or inactive sources are not promoted as top-level content, which keeps the site useful for job seekers and avoids sending search engines to pages that are mostly empty.
