Advertising policy
Last updated: June 28, 2026
UN Careers is free to use. We may support the service with advertising, including Google AdSense. This policy explains how ads are kept separate from our job listings, guides and search experience.
Editorial independence
Ads do not influence which vacancies we collect, how job results are ranked, which guides we publish, or the wording of any listing. Job data comes from official employer career portals, and every application link goes to the employer's own site.
Ad placement standards
- Ads must be visually separated from job content, navigation and application buttons.
- Ads must not block a user from reading a vacancy or reaching the official application page.
- We do not ask, encourage or reward users to click ads.
- We do not place ads on internal utility pages such as confirmation, unsubscribe or studio pages.
- Sponsored email placements, if used, are static, clearly labeled and separate from Google AdSense.
Google AdSense and consent
When AdSense is enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Where consent is required, Google advertising storage defaults to denied until the user makes a choice.
Report an ad problem
If you see an ad that is misleading, unsafe, obstructive or inappropriate for a job-search audience, email contact@un-careers.site with the page URL, a screenshot if possible, and the approximate time you saw it.
