Disclaimer
Last updated: June 5, 2026
This Disclaimer applies to your use of UN Careers and should be read together with our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
Information only
UN Careers provides aggregated job-listing information for general informational purposes. We make no representation or warranty, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability or suitability of any information on the Service. Any reliance you place on it is strictly at your own risk.
No affiliation or endorsement
UN Careers is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, authorized by or endorsed by the United Nations, its agencies, funds or programmes, or any other organization whose vacancies appear here. Organization names, emblems, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are shown only to identify the source of a listing. Their use does not imply any association or endorsement.
The official posting governs
Listings are gathered from public sources and may be incomplete, out of date or closed by the time you read them. The authoritative version of any vacancy, including its requirements, grade, duty station and deadline, is the original posting on the employer's own website. Always confirm the details there before relying on them or applying.
Not professional advice
Our guides and articles are general information, not professional, legal, immigration, financial or career advice, and they do not create any advisor relationship. Seek qualified advice for your specific circumstances.
No employment relationship or guarantee
UN Careers is not an employer, recruiter or staffing agency, and using the Service creates no employment relationship. We do not guarantee that any listing will lead to an interview, an offer or employment.
External links
The Service links to third-party websites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, accuracy or practices, and a link is not an endorsement.
Recruitment-fraud awareness
Job-scam operators sometimes impersonate the United Nations and other international organizations. Please protect yourself:
- The United Nations and its agencies do not charge any feeat any stage of recruitment (application, interview, processing, training or otherwise) and do not ask for your bank details to "process" an application.
- UN Careers never charges you and never collectsyour CV, documents or application materials. Every application is made on the employer's own official portal, which you reach through the apply link.
- Treat any request for payment, personal banking information or documents outside an official portal as a likely scam. Do not send money or sensitive data.
- Verify a vacancy and any communication against the organization's official website before acting on it.
You can read the United Nations fraud alert at un.org/en/about-us/fraud-alert, and our own guide, avoiding UN job scams. If you spot a fraudulent listing on our Service, please tell us so we can remove it.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, UN Careers is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Service or any listing. This Disclaimer is subject to the limitations and exclusions in our Terms of Use.
