CONTEXTO ORGANIZATIVO
El PMA trabaja en Honduras para fomentar y proteger los medios de vida y el capital humano, se abordan las causas profundas del hambre y la pobreza y se atienden las necesidades básicas de las poblaciones más vulnerables en situaciones de crisis, en estrecha colaboración con el gobierno y demás socios en el país. El PMA está presente en Honduras desde 1970, alcanzando anualmente cerca de 1.5 millones de beneficiarios. El PMA tiene una fuerte presencia en campo, con oficinas y estructura logística en Tegucigalpa, Comayagua, Marcala, Santa Rosa de Copan, Choluteca, San Pedro Sula, Gracias a Dios, La Ceiba y Puerto Lempira.
Bajo la supervisión directa del jefe de la Unidad de Alianzas y Reportes, el titular de este puesto debe asumir la responsabilidad de llevar a término una serie de actividades de apoyo operativo que requieren un cierto grado de interpretación de las directrices y prácticas estándar. Además, puede recomendar una determinada línea de acción a funcionarios de diversos niveles y asignar tareas a los colegas menos experimentados.

Conocimientos y competencias
- Conocimiento de prácticas y métodos operativos comunes especializados, adquirido gracias a capacitación técnica y experiencia pertinentes.
- Aptitud para desarrollar y mantener relaciones con diversas personas con el objetivo de proporcionar un servicio de apoyo de alta calidad.
- Capacidad para realizar análisis básicos de datos y solucionar autónomamente los problemas que requieren atención.
- Capacidad para supervisar y registrar transacciones financieras.
- Se requieren buenas dotes de comunicación para intercambiar información y trabajar con una gran variedad de personas.
- Conocimientos y experiencia en gestión del conocimiento y de la información, incluida la administración de repositorios colaborativos, clasificación y control de versiones de documentos, sistematización de buenas prácticas y lecciones aprendidas, y elaboración de productos de conocimiento para apoyar decisiones y aprendizaje institucional.
