Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant subject matter or obtained specific degree in teaching with two years of relevant work experience, preferably in teaching children.
Completed High School from an accredited academic institution, with four years of relevant professional experiences.

Experience

  • Having affiliation with education institutions is a clear advantage;
  • Proven capacity and experience in teaching in a classroom setting and/or private tutoring Proven capacity and at least four years of experience in teaching the specific subject;
  • Proven ability and experience in liaising with UN, Government Departments/Authorities and other international organizations;
Have solid experience in teaching both children, having experiences in conduct multi-grade teaching is desirable;

Skills

  • Maintains confidentiality and discretion in appropriate areas of work;
  • Proven ability and experience in liaising with UN, Government Departments/Authorities and other international organizations.
Proven ability to operate computer basic applications: MS Word, MS Excel, Windows

Languages

For this consultancy, fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is required (oral and written).

Proficiency of language(s) required will be specifically evaluated during the selection process, which may include written and/or oral assessments.

Notes

IOM covers Consultants against occupational accidents and illnesses under the Compensation Plan (CP), free of charge, for the duration of the consultancy. IOM does not provide evacuation or medical insurance for reasons related to non-occupational accidents and illnesses. Consultants are responsible for their own medical insurance for non-occupational accident or illness and will be required to provide written proof of such coverage before commencing work.

Appointment will be subject to certification that the candidate is medically fit for appointment, accreditation, any residency or visa requirements, security clearances.
