TERMS OF REFERENCE

The purpose of this consultancy is to provide coordination and technical support to the National Planning Commission (NPC) and the National Nutrition and Food Security Secretariat (NNFSS) in strengthening multi-sector coordination structures at the federal, provincial, and local levels and supporting the operationalization of EU budget

support for the effective implementation of the Multi-Sector Nutrition Plan III (MSNP-III, 2023-2030). The assignment will focus on strengthening multi-sector coordination mechanisms, enhancing the capacity of MSNP-III governance structures across all three levels of government, and facilitating the implementation, monitoring, and reporting of EU

budget support toward the achievement of Disbursement Linked Indicators (DLIs) under the leadership of the NPC.

The consultant will additionally support the advocacy efforts to establish nutrition-responsive financing for MSNP-III implementation, support alignment of MSNP-III priorities with national policies and sectoral plans, ensure effective coordination and reporting to the Scaling Up Nutrition (SUN) Movement Secretariat, and contribute to the coordination and reporting of Nepal's international commitments, including the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Nutrition for Growth 2025 (N4G), and UN Food Systems Dialogue commitments.

Minimum requirements

<strong>Education:</strong> University degree in social science, management, health economics, public health, nutrition, agriculture, or a related field
