Following the launch of the Global Monitoring Framework for school-age children and adolescent nutrition and first-ever guidance on systematically assessing diets for this age group in November 2026, the D&A nutrition team will publish its global database on school-age children and adolescent nutrition including indicators on nutritional status, dietary intake and other domains. The primary purpose of this consultancy is to support the D&A nutrition team in collating data and undertaking data analysis to develop the first global database for school age children and adolescents aged 5-19 years. Additionally, the incumbent will also support the team to identify new data sources, undertake quality assurance and analysis of available microdata for ongoing maintenance of existing Global Nutrition Databases and the integration of this new database on school-age children and adolescent nutrition into the Global Nutrition Databases pipeline.
Minimum requirements
- Demonstrated experience analysing data from large-scale household surveys like MICS and DHS.
- Demonstrated experience with global database management and reporting
- Experience with STATA, R or any other statistical software and Microsoft Office is required.
