TERMS OF REFERENCE
The review will support UNICEF Burundi in assessing the extent to which gender equality is integrated across programmes under the Country Programme Document (CPD) 2024-2027. The CPD prioritizes: (a) Health and nutrition; (b) WASH; (c) Education and skills; (d) Child protection; (e) Social policy; and (f) Programme effectiveness. The review will identify key gender gaps and opportunities and provide actionable recommendations and priority actions to strengthen gender-responsive programming across sectors.
Minimum requirements
Minimum requirements:
- Education: Master`s Degree in at least one of the following fields: Gender studies, social sciences, international development, public policy or related field.
- Work Experience: At least 8 years of relevant professional experience in gender equality, programme review, or related field.
- Skills: Expertise and knowledge in conducting Gender Program Review related to Country Program Documents for UNICEF or any other UN Agency; skills in research, data analysis, strong narrative skills and knowledge in multisectoral action planning.
- Language Requirements: French and English
- Desirables: Experience working with UN or international organizations is an asset.
