TERMS OF REFERENCE
To support the design and implementation of these hard‑component interventions, UNICEF requires a qualified technical consultant to undertake facility assessments, carry out community and stakeholder consultations, prepare construction related documentation, and advise on suitable implementation modalities.
The consultant will deliver the following tasks:
Site Selection and Assessment (Child Friendly Service Hubs and Schools)
- Community and Stakeholder Consultations
Development of BoQs and Technical Documentation
Market Research & Implementation Strategy Review
Minimum requirements
Work Experience
English
Knowledge/Expertise/Skills
Experience working on: Child‑friendly or community spaces, public buildings (schools, clinics, police stations), and small‑scale rehabilitation works
Strong skills in BoQ preparation, cost estimation, and technical reporting.
- Demonstrated experience conducting community consultations.
Desirables
Knowledge of Fiji building standards is an asset.
- Experience with UNICEF or other UN agencies is an advantage.
