How can you make a difference?
The purpose of this consultancy is to provide specialized technical support to UNICEF and government counterparts for strengthening safe, inclusive, scalable and evidence-informed digital education interventions at national and state levels. The assignment will support the development and operationalization of digital education roadmaps, digital architecture frameworks for effective blended learning; strengthen digital pedagogy to support remediation and STEM education, AI-enabled teaching and learning approaches; and build capacity, monitoring systems and knowledge products that enable more effective planning, implementation, review and scale-up of digital education initiatives.
UNICEF is actively engaged in supporting the Government of India and state governments to strengthen equitable access, retention and learning outcomes, with a particular focus on children and adolescents from marginalized communities. In view of the rapid expansion of digital technologies in education and the persistent inequities in both learning opportunities and digital infrastructure, UNICEF proposes hiring a Digital Education Consultant to provide specialized technical assistance under Output 301, including support for digital pedagogy, responsible use of AI in education, EdTech architecture, capacity strengthening, monitoring and knowledge generation
