Minimum Qualification required
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, Statistics, Sociology, or related field (required)
Work experience
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in field data collection, surveys, or research support
• Experience conducting household surveys, school assessments, interviews, or focus group discussions
• Familiarity with data collection tools (paper-based or digital such as Kobo, ODK, or Excel)
• Proven experience as an enumerator, interviewer, or note taker in education, humanitarian, or development contexts is an asset
• Solid understanding of data collection methodologies (quantitative and qualitative)
• Ability to follow structured questionnaires and interview guides accurately
• Strong note-taking and transcription skills
• Familiarity with ethical standards in data collection, including confidentiality and informed consent
• Digital literacy (use of tablets, mobile data collection tools, Excel)
Arabic required
English or French required
Knowledge of Hassaniya Arabic is an asset
Spanish is an asset
Desirables
Experience with UNICEF or similar contexts
Experience in refugee or displacement settings
