The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is supporting this process through the project ‘Strengthened Service Delivery Systems for Improved Migration Management and Sustainable Reintegration’ , implemented by IOM and funded by European Union (EU). by facilitating structured, multi-stakeholder consultations across the 8 divisions and one multi-stakeholder consultation at national level. The divisional consultations aim to gather inputs from migrant-communities, aspirant and returnee migrants and their families, government, CSOs and other representatives to inform evidence-based and locally relevant operational strategies as well to include the local voices. Building on the outcomes of the divisional consultations, the national consultation will engage policymakers to develop an inclusive action plan for the effective implementation of the relevant GCM objectives.

  • Prepare Workplan, consultation methodology, agenda templates, and stakeholder mapping.
  • Prepare presentation and facilitate 8 divisional-level consultations in coordination with relevant local level stakeholders and produce summary reports for each consultation within 10 days of completion of workshops.
  • Facilitate of National level consultations and prepare event report within 10 days of completion of the event identifying at least 5 priority areas for intervention outlined in the National Action Plan for GCM.
• Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Public Policy, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and policy consultations.
• Demonstrated experience working on migration governance, development planning, or related thematic areas.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Bangla.
