Purpose of Activity/Assignment: Under the direct supervision of the Partnership Manager, the consultant will support Generation Unlimited (GenU) in strengthening strategic engagement with the GenU Global Leadership Council and other influential leaders to advance employability, employment and entrepreneurship for young people, working with GenU leadership and across the GenU Global Team.
Scope of Work
Strengthen and further engage GenU’s Global Leadership Council and other influential leaders to help scale market-relevant skilling and livelihood opportunities for young people:
Minimum requirements
- A minimum of ten years of experience in strategic planning, coordination, advocacy and partnership and event management
- Experience with programming and partnerships in multilateral organizations with focus on education and/or youth skills and livelihoods. Experience with UNICEF is an added advantage.
- Ability to work effectively with people of different national and cultural backgrounds
- Fluency in English is required, strong written and verbal competency is necessary
