Internal and external candidates will be considered for this vacancy. For the purposes of this vacancy, internal candidates are defined as staff members holding a regular, fixed-term or short-term graded or ungraded contract, including Junior Professional Officers (JPOs), staff on Special Leave Without Pay (SLWOP), and staff members on secondment/loan released by the Organization, unless otherwise specified in their contract. Staff members holding a regular, fixed-term or short-term graded contract will not retain their contract type if appointed to an ungraded position.
Context
Under the overall supervision of the Regional Coordinator (Crete) and the direct supervision of the Project Team Lead (Independent Living), the successful candidate will have the following duties and responsibilities:
- Regularly visit the designated Reception Facilities to ρresent the project to the beneficiaries through comprehensive information sessions and enrol them in it, if eligible.
- Coordinate with RIS and other relevant stakeholders operating on-site concerning the schedule of the visits and the messaging to the beneficiaries.
- Ensure that the messaging to beneficiaries is clearly communicated.
- Assist the beneficiaries in their search for apartments and administrative pre-requirements, depending on needs.
- Execute apartment monitoring visits, via videocall or in person, in the designated area of responsibility.
- Provide timely reports and any other necessary information to the Project Assistant (Independent Living) and relevant departments. `
- Collect data and Means of Verification of the Independent Living component of the project.
- Perform such other duties as may be assigned.
