Result of Service

One draft edited TOCTA Central Africa report in tracked changes for the review of the drafting/reviewing team, with key messages developed based on the findings of the report;

Second version of all documents with comments by UNODC incorporated;

Possible additional comments and inputs from other UNODC staff incorporated;

Edited and proofread final version of the TOCTA report.

15 days, 29 June to 17 July

Duties and Responsibilities

The Contractor will assist the Research and Awareness Unit with setting up the language, stylistic and structural standards to be adopted in a TOCTA Trafficking of medical products in Central Africa and ensuring compliance with UN editorial manual. S/he will integrate, editorially appraise and revise the inputs from the research officers, designers and experts involved in the process, harmonizing the style to create a coherent final document and presenting the information contained in an engaging manner.

Qualifications/special skills

A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Languages

English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For this position, fluency in French and English, with excellent drafting and communication skills, is required. Knowledge of another United Nations official language is an advantage.
