UNICEF is seeking a Project Manager to join the UNICEF Global Individual Giving Fundraising Team, within the Division of Private Fundraising and Partnerships (PFP), that raises money for children from the public.
This platform will utilize the latest CMS/DXP technology provided by Optimizely to deliver the highest standard of user experience to drive fundraising revenue growth. Candidates with an eCommerce and/or Digital Fundraising Product Management background, as well as experience across countries and cultures, will be particularly suitable for this role.
In summary, the GGP2 project aims to create a globally, scalable and secure product to support digital fundraising across all regions with the following core concepts:

- Trust first: security (i.e. PCI compliance), privacy and reliability are not negotiable.

Education
- An advanced university degree in one of the following fields is required: marketing, computer science, engineering, technology, digital media, or any other relevant areas.
- Alternatively, a first level university degree in a relevant field combined with (2) additional years of qualifying professional experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
Work Experience
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience project managing a CMS platform roll out end to end (preferably Optimizely) from planning to execution.
- Knowledge on CMS architectures and experience in launching CMS migration in a multimarket environment with varying levels of maturity
- Understands decentralized vs. hybrid CMS architectures and the trade-offs
- Experience in establishing processes, channels & tools for ways of working, feedback mechanism and communication with markets and internal stakeholders
- Experience in program and project planning including budget management.
- Experience in mapping available funding to delivery phases, ability to build a resource model for both implementation and BAU Experience in enterprise-level collaborative product governance and orchestrating multi-market launches, being accountable for go/no-go criteria with vendor, agency and DID. Manage different market readiness levels simultaneously.
Language Requirements
Fluency in English (and Spanish for LAC markets) is required.
Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) is considered as an asset.
Knowledge/Expertise/Skills
- Extensive project and product management experience.
- Specific experience with CMS/DXP Optimizely products is a plus
- Experience in managing design projects, including design system standards, is a plus
- Hands-on experience of working with AI agents is a plus
- Experience with qualitative user experience and usability testing a plus
- Experience operating within a global team serving regional and country offices
- Familiarity with Jira, DevOps and other project management tools
- Knowledge of the non-profit fundraising business model – or equivalent ecommerce subscription-based model – is a plus.
