With increased digitization trend across UNICEF programme implementation as championed by Office of Strategy and Evidence (OSE) and Digital Impact Division (DID), there is increased need for Regional Offices to have inhouse technical capacity to support COs in the transition, support, usage and troubleshooting of the tools. These tools include: eTools, UN Partner Portal, Partner Reporting Portal, Last Mile Supply Monitoring, eWorkPlan and others in the pipeline.
The newly established UNICEF Asia Pacific Regional Office (APRO) will cover 22 Country Office with over 2500 implementing partners and over US$ 560 million in cash transfers to implementing partners in a calendar year. With significant implementation taking place in medium to smaller offices such as Laos, Malaysia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Mongolia, Bhutan etc, all with limited internal capacity to provide adequate inhouse support in addressing digital tools requirements to support compliant programme implementation with their downstream partners.
This consultancy is therefore set up with the aim of providing tailormade rollout, support, troubleshooting and training to Country Offices in UNICEF APRO region in their application of the digital tools in everyday programme implementation.
