TERMS OF REFERENCE
The Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan (MoHMI) is planning to conduct an Effective Vaccine Management (EVM) Assessment to evaluate the performance of the national vaccine supply chain and identify opportunities for improvement.
Education
Bachelors degree in public health, immunization programmes, vaccine management, epidemiology, supply chain management, logistics, cold chain management
Work experience
Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible professional experience in immunization programmes and vaccine management.
Knowledge/Expertise/Skills
• Familiarity with the WHO EVM assessment methodology and tools and previous experience with WHO/UNICEF Effective Vaccine Management (EVM) assessments or similar vaccine supply chain assessments.
• Strong analytical, report-writing, and presentation skills. Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data and develop evidencebased recommendations.
• Experience in developing continuous Improvement Plans (cIPs) for immunization supply chains.
Desirables
Experience in working with ministries of health, international organizations, or development partners in the Region or countries with similar health system contexts.
Language Requerements
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English required. Knowledge of Russian will be an asset.
