TERMS OF REFERENCE
The purpose of this consultancy is to strengthen the UNICEF Sudan WASH Section’s capacity to deliver timely, high-quality, and results-oriented donor reporting and proposal development. The consultant will provide end-to-end support across the reporting and resource mobilization cycle from planning and coordination to drafting, quality assurance, and finalization of donor-facing documents.
Specifically, the consultant will:
Enhance the quality, coherence, and consistency of donor reports and proposals in line with UNICEF standards and donor requirements
Ensure timely submission of all donor deliverables through proactive planning, tracking, and coordination
Support the development of evidence-based, results-focused narratives that clearly articulate programme impact, challenges, and value for money
Strengthen internal processes for information management, knowledge sharing, and documentation within the WASH Section
Contribute to improved resource mobilization outcomes by developing high-quality concept notes and proposals aligned with donor priorities
Promote a more systematic and standardized approach to reporting, including templates, trackers, and quality assurance mechanisms
