Introduction
Under the overall supervision of the Head of Office and direct supervision of the National Project Officer, and technical guidance from the Senior Project Assistant (IOM India), the incumbent will be responsible for providing technical and administrative support related to the implementation of worker resource centre(s) in Karnataka.
Work and engage migrant workers and the targeted communities on the project.
Support the establishment and operations of the Mobile Worker Resource Center(s).
Serve as the primary liaison between IOM and the Implementing Partner (IP), managing all communication to ensure smooth project implementation.
Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess project effectiveness.
Prepare regular evaluation reports, project updates, briefing materials and provide insights for continuous improvement.
Conduct regular field visits to oversee service delivery and gather feedback.
Coordinate logistics for field activities, ensuring resources are effectively allocated.
Address any operational issues that arise in the field promptly.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including community leaders and partners.
Assist in planning and executing projects related to service delivery.
Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Maintain accurate records of activities, communications, and evaluations.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to enhance service delivery.
Strengthen and diversify the outreach and impact of the project in the targeted areas, using local experience and knowledge.
Create and maintain spreadsheets to track key metrics and performance indicators.
Develop data visualizations to communicate findings effectively.
Perform such other duties as may be assigned.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in the field of Social Sciences, Law, Sustainability or a related field from an accredited academic institution with at least THREE years of relevant professional experience; or
Experience
Proven experience in monitoring and evaluation.
Solid understanding of management principles.
Experience in assessing monitoring improvement plan status and progress from labour and human rights assessments.
Experience in drafting regular status and progress report
Skills
Strong quantitative business analysis skills, attention to detail, and high level of accuracy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment

English, Kannada & Hindi

IOM covers Consultants against occupational accidents and illnesses under the Compensation Plan (CP), free of charge, for the duration of the consultancy.
