How can you make a difference?
Mental Health and Psychosocial Support is an institutional priority for UNICEF. Through funding from Wellcome Trust, UNICEF and WHO are jointly developing a child and adolescent mental health accountability mechanism to support the public registration, monitoring and implementation of government commitments.
The UNICEF-WHO Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMH) Accountability Mechanism is a global initiative to strengthen accountability for mental health commitments and accelerate progress for children, adolescents and caregivers worldwide.
By providing a transparent platform to monitor commitments, track implementation, and share progress, the mechanism helps ensure that political commitments lead to meaningful action, investment and improved services.
This consultancy, planned from 15 November 2026 to 14 November 2027, will prioritize the design and development of the UNICEF-WHO CAMH accountability prototype and provide subsequent launch and optimization support. Following the initial prototype and launch milestones, the assignment will provide continuing broader MHPSS design and development support, including platform support, maintenance and related technical improvements across MHPSS digital products through the end of the contract.
The assignment is temporary, time-bound and deliverable-based. Programme requirements beyond 14 November 2027 will be reviewed separately, subject to programme needs, available funding and applicable contracting procedures.
