How can you make a difference?
Under the direct supervision of the Global Mental Health Lead, the consultancy, Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) Youth Storytelling, Engagement and Learning Generation will support and collaborate on the development, coordination and implementation of a multi-country youth storytelling, engagement and learning generation plan, which supports the internal and external promotion and dissemination of the content being produced to support the mental health of young people, as part of the UNICEF/ Spotify 5 year partnership, and as part of the UNICEF / Pinterest ‘Young People’s Perceptions of AI, Digital Mental Health Tools, and Online Safety’ research project.
Minimum requirements
- Initiative, independence, creative, innovative, and detail oriented.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, ability to work on multiple projects with short deadlines.
Good analytical abilities, including understanding data and figures, social media metrics and translate them into actionable insights to refine strategies.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office, editing, WordPress (or similar), graphic design software (Adobe InDesign, Canva).
- Direct field experience in interviewing young people / facilitating focus group discussions on sensitive topics (e.g. mental health, migration, climate anxiety,etc).
- Experience in LMICs and knowledge of the functioning of UNICEF MHPSS Operational Framework in particular is of great added value.
