TERMS OF REFERENCE
UNICEF Belarus requires dedicated technical support to strengthen the generation, analysis, management and use of data and evidence related to children and adolescents.
Education
- Master's degree in Statistics, Economics, Sociology, Demography, Public Administration, Development Studies, International Relations, Monitoring and Evaluation, Research, Data Science, Information Management or other relevant fields.
Work Experience
Knowledge/Expertise/Skills
• Strong understanding of monitoring, research, data analysis and evidence generation principles and approaches.
• Good understanding of results-based management, programme monitoring and corporate reporting processes.
• Knowledge of survey methodologies, administrative data systems and official statistics.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and synthesize data and evidence from multiple sources and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Experience in preparation of analytical products, research reports, briefing notes, knowledge products and other evidence-based materials.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality outputs.
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team and establish harmonious and effective working relationships.
Desirables
• Experience in monitoring, evaluation and research related to SDGs, child rights, child well-being and/or adolescent development is an asset.
• Demonstrated experience in preparing research papers, analytical publications, reviews or other evidence products is an asset (examples may be requested during the selection process).
• Experience in developing infographics, dashboards, data visualizations and other evidence communication products is an asset.
Language Requirements
