TERMS OF REFERENCE
UNICEF, jointly with UN agencies and relevant national partners, is implementing several initiatives with a focus on social and behavior change. The interventions cover such areas as WASH in schools and inclusive education.
Minimum Qualifications required
- Advanced university degree (post-graduation, Masters or PhD) in social studies, health communication, or any other relevant field
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in communication, including in health/WASH communication, social behavior change interventions, areas of responsibility as per ToR.
- Work experience at UN agencies is an asset
- Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of Uzbek and Russian is required.

Knowledge/Expertise/Skills
- Expertise in applying behavioral theories (like the socio-ecological model) specifically to WASH challenges—such as promoting handwashing with soap, and ensuring safe water storage
