How can you make a difference?
The purpose of this consultancy is to deliver time-bound information management and emergency reporting outputs to support regional preparedness and response monitoring related to Ebola Virus Disease and other public health risks in West and Central Africa.
Education
• Advanced University degree in one of the following fields: Data management, Information management, social sciences, public administration, law, public health, nutrition, international relations, business administration or other related disciplines.
Work Experience:
• At least two years of relevant professional experience in information management, data analysis, emergency reporting or related fields.
• Experience supporting humanitarian preparedness, response monitoring or public health emergency reporting.
• Experience consolidating, quality-assuring and analysing data from multiple sources and preparing clear reporting products.
Language requirements
• French and English
Knowledge/Expertise/Skills
• Professional experience in humanitarian emergency reporting, information management or related fields, including at least two years at the international level.
Desirables
• Previous experience with UNICEF or the UN system.
• Experience in humanitarian information management and emergency reporting.
• Proficiency in Power BI, ArcGIS or similar visualization tools.
• Experience supporting public health emergency responses.
