UNICEF had agreed with SCMC, through the Annual Work Plan for 2026 to support in strengthening the role of children in the SCMC’s national/ international programs and projects. One of the suggested areas of collaboration is to provide technical advice to the SDG club/ambassadors initiative - mobilized by SCMC- in support of accelerating national efforts towards realizing SDGs by strengthening children's and adolescent’s role in advocacy.
Minimum requirements
- Education: A minimum of a master’s degree in social sciences or equivalent
- Work Experience: Over 5 years proven experience in child rights, SDG promotion, training of young people;
- Skills (optional): Very good communication and presentation skills with government and adolescents.
- Language Requirements: Fluent in both English and Arabic (written and spoken)
- Desirables: Previous work with the government sector as well as UN agencies (preferably with exposure to the Arab/Gulf region); Candidate must have valid residence permission in UAE
