Result of Service

The consultant will contribute to the successful delivery of the CTCN TAs in Chile:

Successful conducting ex post evaluations of TA projects.

Successful conducting interviews with relevant stakeholders of the CTCN TAs in Chile, in coordination with the NDE of Chile.

Work Location

SANTIAGO, CHILE

Duties and Responsibilities

Support the development of a database of TAs participants and participant responses for each TA intervention.

Support the development of a plan for the post-intervention evaluation.

Develop reports on the status of action items for each TA project.

Develop a document outlining the challenges and lessons learned from each TA project completed to date in Chile.

Review and provide recommendations on the quality of deliverables, including completion reports.

Provide local and regional intelligence.

Support the monitoring of CTCN post-TA pipeline in Chile.

Qualifications/special skills

University degree in Government and Public Administration or related area. A master’s in environmental science, innovation or a relevant field is an asset.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively to various audiences.

Ability to synthesize information in a clear and well-structured manner.

Ability to plan, prioritize and deliver tasks effectively and on time.

Record of working harmoniously in teams of multi-cultural background.

At least 10 years of professional experience in the field of public policies, strategic leadership, productive development, and innovation.

At least 5 years of professional experience in public governance and inter-ministerial coordination.

Experience in the design and implementation of development tools focused on sustainability, gender equality, and climate change.

Experience of preparing reports, planning documents and/or other project coordination tools.

Good knowledge of climate change mitigation and adaptation related issues in LAC is an asset.

Proficiency in relevant software and tools for data analysis, document preparation, and communication is an advantage.

Languages

Strong communication and writing skills in Spanish are required, while working knowledge of English is desirable.
