TERMS OF REFERENCE
This consultant will also play a pivotal role in facilitating the rollout of the UNICEF country office's comprehensive PHE prevention and response strategy, thereby contributing to the strengthening of Uganda's overall health security framework.
Education
• A Master’s degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Global Health, Health systems strengthening, or related field
Work Experience
• Minimum of 8 years of professional work experience in public health emergencies or a related public health field
• Demonstrated experience in managing large complex grants from multi-lateral and bi-lateral donors.
• Demonstrated experience in providing technical assistance to Ministry of Health
Language requirements
• Fluency in spoken and written English
Knowledge/Expertise/Skills
• Experience in facilitating multi-stakeholder coordination and technical consultations
• Familiarity with Uganda health sector systems and structures
• Excellent interpersonal, coordination, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality outputs within tight timelines
Desirables
• PRINCE2 or PMP or other professional certification in program management
