For every child, the right to voice
UNICEF Nepal, in collaboration with government stakeholders, is organizing a national-level Social and Behaviour Change (SBC) Master Training of Trainers (M-ToT) in Kathmandu to strengthen nutrition-focused SBC capacity in support of Nepal’s Multi-Sector Nutrition Plan III (MSNP III), the SBC Capacity Development Plan 2026, the 16th National Plan, and the Sustainable Development Goals. As a strategic investment in institutionalizing SBC within government systems, the training will build a national pool of skilled SBC and nutrition professionals capable of cascading capacity-building efforts at provincial and local levels.
How can you make a difference?
UNICEF Nepal, in coordination with the National Planning Commission and the Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives, Federal Affairs and General Administration (MoLMCFAGA), is organizing one three-day Master Training of Trainers on nutrition-focused Social and Behaviour Change in Kathmandu, followed by three-day provincial Training of Trainers events in Madhesh, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim. The consultancy will design and facilitate a competency-based SBC training package that strengthens participants’ practical skills to analyse behavioural drivers, design context-specific nutrition SBC interventions, facilitate participatory learning, monitor behaviour change outcomes, and institutionalize SBC within multi-sector nutrition systems across federal, provincial and local levels.
