Minimum requirements
Work Experience
Minimum of five years of relevant professional experience in the education sector at national and/or subnational education authorities and school levels.
Proven experience working with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MoEYS) and schools, providing technical support, particularly in Early Grade Learning initiatives (EGL) and/or Multilingual Education Programme (MLE).
Demonstrated experience in the development, review, and implementation of curricula, learning and teaching materials, and learning assessments.
Experience working with UN agencies, international development organizations, NGOs, or other development partners is an advantage.
Experience working with communities, particularly Indigenous ethnic minority communities, is considered a strong asset.
Sound understanding of Cambodia's primary education curriculum, especially the ongoing nationwide rollout of the Early Grade Learning initiatives (EGL).
Knowledge of Multilingual Education Programme (MLE) implemented in Cambodia, or other Mother Tongue-Based Education approaches.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Strong planning, organizational, monitoring, and reporting skills. Proficiency in computer applications, digital technologies, and presentation tools.
Ability to work effectively with government counterparts, schools, communities, and development partners.
Fluency in written and spoken English.
Knowledge of Indigenous languages spoken in Cambodia is an asset.
