Supervision

Education

  • Être inscrit(e) en dernière année de licence ou dans un programme de master en communication, journalisme, marketing digital, médias numériques, production audiovisuelle, multimédia, relations publiques, sciences de l’information, sciences sociales ou dans un domaine connexe, dans un établissement universitaire reconnu ; ou
  • Être titulaire d’une licence dans l’un des domaines mentionnés ci-dessus ou dans un domaine connexe.
  • Une formation complémentaire, un portfolio ou une expérience académique/professionnelle en création de contenus, gestion des réseaux sociaux, production audiovisuelle, design graphique, storytelling ou communication digitale serait un atout.

Experience

  • Expérience, intérêt démontré ou travaux académiques/professionnels dans les domaines des médias, de la communication, du journalisme, du contenu digital, du plaidoyer, du développement international, de l’action humanitaire ou de la migration.
  • Bonne familiarité avec les principales plateformes de médias sociaux, notamment X/Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube et TikTok, ainsi qu’avec leurs formats, audiences et usages éditoriaux.
  • Capacité à rédiger des contenus clairs, concis et adaptés aux publics cibles, notamment pour les réseaux sociaux, le web, les newsletters, les campagnes ou les supports d’information publique.
  • Une expérience ou une pratique en planification de contenus, calendriers éditoriaux, newsletters, storytelling, appui aux campagnes de communication ou utilisation d’outils de design de base serait un avantage.
  • Des compétences de base en photographie, vidéographie, montage audio, montage vidéo, animation ou design graphique seraient un atout.
  • Une expérience ou un intérêt pour la gestion des connaissances, la documentation, l’archivage, l’organisation de contenus numériques ou la gestion de banques de contenus serait un avantage.
  • Intérêt marqué pour les questions de migration, d’action humanitaire, de développement et d’information publique en Afrique de l’Ouest et du Centre.

Skills

  • Bonnes compétences en rédaction, édition, relecture et correction de contenus de communication.
  • Bonnes capacités d’organisation, rigueur, attention aux détails et aptitude à gérer plusieurs tâches tout en respectant les échéances.
  • Créativité, sens éditorial et bon jugement dans l’élaboration d’idées, de formats et de contenus de communication adaptés aux publics cibles.
  • Capacité à travailler au sein d’une équipe multiculturelle et à communiquer de manière respectueuse avec des collègues issus de différents contextes.
  • Bonnes compétences en recherche, analyse, synthèse et vérification de l’information.
  • Maîtrise de Microsoft Office. La familiarité avec SharePoint, Canva, les outils Adobe, les outils de programmation de contenus sur les réseaux sociaux ou les tableaux de bord d’analyse de base serait un avantage.
  • Engagement en faveur d’une communication éthique, exacte, inclusive et sensible à la protection.

Languages

For this internship, fluency in French is required (oral and written). Working knowledge of English is required.

Proficiency of language(s) required will be specifically evaluated during the selection process, which may include written and/or oral assessments.

Notes

Depending on experience and location, interns are granted a small monthly stipend to help offset costs. Interns benefiting from an internship allowance or scholarship granted by their university or other sponsoring body that includes financial remuneration or credits for coursework will not be eligible for the stipend.

IOM covers Interns against occupational accidents and illnesses under the Compensation Plan (CP), free of charge, for the duration of the internship. IOM does not provide evacuation or medical insurance for reasons related to non-occupational accidents and illnesses. Interns are responsible for their own medical insurance for non-occupational accident or illness and will be required to provide written proof of such coverage before commencing work.
