Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Law, Policy, Economics or a related field from an accredited academic institution with two years of relevant professional experience; or
- High School diploma with four years of relevant professional experience.
Experience
- Experience providing programme, project coordination or administrative support, preferably within a migration, development or humanitarian context;
- Experience coordinating information with a range of stakeholders, including government entities, United Nations agencies, civil society organizations and other partners;
- Experience providing administrative and programme support services, including the organization of meetings, workshops, consultations and related events;
- Experience compiling, organizing and maintaining information, records, databases and knowledge management resources; and
- Experience preparing routine reports, briefing materials, presentations and meeting documentation, including minutes and summaries.
Skills
- Good written and oral communication skills;
- Strong organizational and coordination skills;
- Ability to gather, compile and organize information;
- Knowledge of migration issues in Indonesia; and
Languages
All IOM staff members in all categories are required to be fluent in one of the IOM's official languages (English, French, Spanish).
For this position, fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia are required (oral and written).
Proficiency of language(s) required will be specifically evaluated during the selection process, which may include written and/or oral assessments.
