EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related fields from an accredited academic institution with two years of relevant professional experience; or,
- Master’s degree in the above-mentioned fields
EXPERIENCE
- Experience in working with migrants, refugees, internally displaced persons, victims of trafficking and other vulnerable groups.
- A minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience in the running of a transit Center or similar establishment.
- Minimum of two years of experience with supervision roles for tasks of a similar nature to this assignment;
- Proven experience in project management, budgeting and record keeping.
- Knowledge of relevant needs assessment guidelines and templates to conduct needs assessments for refugees populations,
- Ability to prepare clear and concise reports on the TC activities.
- Ability to develop project strategies and activities based on identified needs,
- Ability to build relations with local government authorities, donors, beneficiaries and other stakeholders,
- Experience working with specialized international agencies, including UN agencies, international organizations, and international non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
- Proficient in computer applications and Microsoft Office Applications
