Learning Solutions Development Support
- Provide technical and operational support in the development, adaptation, and maintenance of digital learning solutions, including e-learning modules, blended learning programmes, and multimedia content.
- Assist instructional designers and subject matter experts in preparing, editing, and formatting learning materials in line with organizational standards and accessibility requirements.
- Support the coordination of learning content review processes by consolidating feedback, tracking revisions, and facilitating the timely delivery of outputs.
- Apply established learning development standards and guidelines to support the quality and consistency of learning products.
Learning Systems And Tools Support
Provide support in the administration of learning systems and platforms, including course uploads, testing, catalogue management, and report extraction.
Monitor usage of learning platforms and contribute to the preparation of regular reports and dashboards to support informed decision-making.
Support the resolution of user issues by responding to queries and coordinating with relevant teams to address system-related concerns.
Contribute to the development and update of standard operating procedures (SOPs), user guides, and FAQs to improve system usability and user experience.
Data Collection, Monitoring And Reporting
Support the collection, consolidation, and validation of data from learning systems and other sources for reporting purposes.
Assist in the preparation of analytical reports, dashboards, and presentations on learning activities, LMS usage, and programme performance.
Contribute to the analysis of learning data, including learner feedback, assessment results, and application indicators, to identify trends, support the evaluation of learning effectiveness (e.g., Kirkpatrick Levels 1–4), and provide inputs for continuous improvement of learning solutions and processes.
Stakeholder Support And Coordination
Serve as a focal point for assigned learning-related requests, supporting timely coordination with internal clients and stakeholders.
Collaborate with HR Business Partners and relevant offices/departments to support learning activities based on organizational needs and workforce development priorities.
Provide first-level guidance to users on learning policies, procedures, and available learning offerings, escalating complex issues as required.
Administrative And Operational Support
Support administrative processes related to learning activities, including tracking of licenses, coordination of procurement-related actions, and communication with service providers, as required.
Support the implementation of global learning and development initiatives aligned with IOM and DHR priorities by organizing meetings, preparing agendas, and following up on action points.
Support the maintenance of trackers and documentation to maintain accurate and up-to-date records of learning activities and services.
Perform other duties that may be assigned.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional certification in Education, Learning & Development, Information and Communications Technology or a related field from an accredited academic institution with four (4) years of relevant professional experience; or
High school diploma with six (6) years of relevant professional experience.
EXPERIENCE
Experience supporting learning and development activities.
Knowledge of learning theories and instructional development models.
Basic knowledge on Learning Management Systems (LMS), preferably Moodle, Cornerstone OnDemand, Oracle Learn Cloud etc.
Solid knowledge of the Articulate suite content authoring tool, video creation tools ( i.e.Vyond, Powtoon, etc) and the application of international accessibility standards.
Working knowledge of learning theories and instructional development models.
Experience supporting project coordination, monitoring and reporting.
SKILLS
Ability to apply instructional development principles and learning methodologies.
Proficiency in visual design (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and video editing (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effect, Vyond).
Planning and coordination skills.
Flexibility and adaptability to change.
Cross-cultural awareness.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Ability to work under pressure.
