How can you make a difference?
The consultant will conduct a comprehensive assessment of UNICEF Lebanon's office space with the objective of enhancing the overall workplace environment, improving space utilization, and promoting fairness and transparency in workspace allocation across sections.
Working closely with the Operations Section, the Staff Association, and designated focal points, the consultant will assess the current office layout, identify opportunities for improvement, and consult with stakeholders to understand functional needs, staff well-being considerations, and operational requirements.
Based on the assessment, the consultant will develop practical design options that optimize the use of available space while improving collaboration, privacy, accessibility, comfort, and employee experience. The proposed solutions should balance functionality, cost-effectiveness, and future organizational needs, and where feasible, incorporate shared wellbeing spaces such as a cafeteria area, meditation/wellness room, and child-friendly room.
The assignment will culminate in a recommended office layout supported by implementation guidance and a detailed cost estimate to facilitate future decision-making and phased implementation
Purpose of the Assignment
