Responsibilities and Accountabilities.
- Work in close coordination with IOM Health, MHPSS and other teams to facilitate access to services for the refugees;
- Coordinate closely with humanitarian partners and government actors and service providers on the site to ensure quality of humanitarian assistance;
Check that refugees are adequately represented and consulted;
- Conduct protection risk mitigation and provide suggestions to improve the overall protection environment and safety for the refugees in close cooperation with IOM technical experts;
- Act as a focal point for all activities ongoing at the transit site;
- Support the IOM team to maintain and manage relations with the host community, local authorities and other key actors involved;
- Provide support with refugee movement in line with IOM guidelines and government regulation;
Education
- University Degree in social work, gender, development studies, international relations or other related fields; with at least2 (two) years of relevant professional experience; or
- Completed high school degree with at least 4 (four)years in relevant work experience.
Accredited Universities are those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database.
Experience
- At least 2 years of experience in humanitarian or development programmes targeting migrants;
- Experience in working with relevant non-governmental institutions, civil society organization or UN;
Skills

Languages
All IOM staff members in all categories are required to be fluent in one of the IOM's official languages (English, French, Spanish).
For this position, fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is required (oral and written).
Proficiency of language(s) required will be specifically evaluated during the selection process, which may include written and/or oral assessments.

This selection process may be used to staff similar positions in various duty stations. Recommended candidates will remain eligible to be appointed in a similar position for a period of 24 months.
